We are committed to facilitating access to dental care and endeavour to be as inclusive as possible. Our purpose built facility has been designed with those with different needs in mind, but please let us know where we can improve access to our services. If you do have any disability that you think we need to know about, please let us know before your appointment, and we will do our best to put suitable arrangements in place to accommodate your needs.
There is disabled parking on site immediately adjacent to the entrance, which has assisted door opening. Our bespoke reception has been designed to accommodate wheelchair users. We have disabled toilet facilities on the ground floor, but can offer access to treatment rooms on both the ground and first floor to anyone with restricted levels of mobility via a lift.
For those with a hearing impairment, we have a hearing loop in reception.
For those with impaired vision, we have incorporated stair nosings to help you use the stairs. Alternatively, you can use our lift to access the first floor. We can provide large font stationery and any member of staff will help you to complete paperwork.
Unfortunately, our treatment areas are not suitable for bariatric patients due to the weight limitations of our dental equipment. If you are excessively overweight, we can partially accommodate your needs, and make arrangements for you to be seen at Carlisle Dental Centre, which can offer access.
